Job summary

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating overhead cranes in industrial or distribution environments.
• Valid overhead crane certification is required.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Understanding of DOT regulations regarding load weight.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Crane and forklift operation: safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Product knowledge: understand products handled, read measurement devices.
• Shipping and Receiving: unload inbound stock and load outbound shipments with proper paperwork.
• Loading Procedures: safely load trucks with proper chaining and tarping of trailers.
• Additional Duties: perform other duties to support warehouse operations.
