Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver Helper to ride with the Driver on a residential route, assist with loading waste, and help maintain vehicle cleanliness. You will interact with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused attitude with a service orientation.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and operate on a residential route.

Responsibilities

• Ride on the vehicle to assist the Driver while servicing customers on a designated route.
• Operate packing mechanism and levers to load waste.
• Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body after disposal trips.
• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and others to ensure timely service.
