Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
• No visa sponsorship for this or future positions
• Must reside or relocate to the job location in Albany, OR
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must have UPS Package car driving experience
• Ability to lift 70 lbs / 32 kg
• Flexible shift hours up to 5 days per week
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
• DOT certification and willingness to pass a DOT physical exam and driving test
• PDS experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manages on-road employees to maximize efficiency and on-time deliveries while using scorecards and audits.
• Develops work plans, troubleshoots inefficiencies, and monitors costs to budget.
• Applies policies and procedures to daily operations.
• Participates in work‑flow design to boost center proficiency and results.
• Ensures implementation of a comprehensive health and safety plan.
• Conducts risk management and safety compliance audits.
• Uses company structure knowledge to resolve problems and achieve objectives.
• Maintains employee safety training and certifications.
• Applies workforce planning to attract talent.
• Determines training needs for continuous development.
• Provides feedback and support to staff.
• Conducts performance evaluations and addresses issues.
• Promotes a collaborative work environment through open communication.
• Applies legal, regulatory and safety knowledge to reduce risk.
• Assesses customer/business needs and trends; coaches and develops others.
