Job summary

E Logic seeks an On-Premises System Administrator (RHEL/Windows) for a US government contract at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. The role focuses on maintaining SAS infrastructure, from server management to security compliance, with on-site requirements.

Required are active SECRET clearance, IAT II certification, and hands-on Linux/Windows administration experience in classified environments. CAC eligibility is also needed.

Qualifications

• DoD/government environment experience preferred.
• Active SECRET clearance required; CAC eligibility.
• IAT II certification (e.g., Security+ CE) required.
• Strong Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server administration experience.
• Experience with virtualization and DoD policies is essential.

Responsibilities

• Administer on-premises networks and servers (RHEL, Windows Server 2016/2019 or later) and HPC clusters for unclassified and classified environments.
• Apply OS updates and security patches within 7 days of release.
• Create/manage user accounts and permissions; respond to requests within 1 day.
• Perform daily health checks and restore access within 1 day.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues for Safety analysts.
• Maintain backups and disaster recovery plans; document changes within 2 days.
• Utilize VMware; familiarity with Xenserver; Confluence GitLab.
