Job summary

E Logic is seeking an On-Premises System Administrator to support the SAS at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. You will manage on-premises servers (RHEL/Windows), perform patching, backups, and troubleshooting for unclassified and classified networks.

The role requires US citizenship, an active SECRET clearance with CAC eligibility, and DoD experience. On-site work is mandatory; familiarity with DoD Cyber Exchange guidelines is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s in IT/CS preferred.
• Experience: 2–4 years in system administration in a DoD/government environment.
• Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required.
• Security Clearance: Active SECRET clearance; CAC eligibility.
• Certifications: IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE).
• Technical: Proficiency in RHEL, Windows Server 2016/2019+, VMware.
• Knowledge: DoD cybersecurity policies; SIPR/NIPR environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain on-premises networks and servers (RHEL, Windows Server).
• Apply updates and patches within 7 days of release.
• Manage user accounts and permissions; respond to requests within 1 day.
• Perform daily health checks and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain backups and disaster recovery procedures; document changes.
