Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain is seeking a full-time, year-round Maintenance Operations Manager at 10 Snowshoe Drive, Snowshoe, WV. You will oversee lodging maintenance, remodeling projects, HOA contracts, and a maintenance team to ensure guest-ready units.

The role requires 3–5 years in property maintenance or facilities management, WV contractor license, strong leadership, and excellent communication. On-mountain benefits include affordable housing and employee perks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Experience supervising maintenance teams and coordinating contractors.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily maintenance operations for lodging units, ensuring timely, high-quality repairs and service delivery.
• Diagnose maintenance issues thoroughly, identify root causes, and implement long-term corrective actions to prevent repeat failures.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs and schedules to maximize asset life and minimize operational disruptions.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Track and manage work orders, maintenance performance metrics, and inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure lodging units remain safe, well-maintained, and consistently guest-ready.
• Develop, launch, and oversee a residential remodeling service focused on kitchen and bathroom renovations.
• Scope remodeling projects and conduct site assessments, prepare estimates and proposals.
• Coordinate labor, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and scheduling for remodeling projects.
• Monitor project quality, timelines, budgets, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage HOA maintenance contracts, budgets, and service agreements, and communicate with HOA boards.
