Job summary

Winter Park Resort is seeking a Lift Electrical Technician I to perform routine industrial electronics maintenance on lifts, assist with design, modification, construction and installation under the supervision of the Lift Electrical Supervisor, and ensure compliance with all relevant safety, regulatory and company standards.

This role requires weekend, evening and holiday work, with an hourly wage around $25.00+ DOE and potential overtime as needed within the resort's total compensation package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Completion of a two-year electronics course including theory, schematic reading, troubleshooting and precision instruments.
• Minimum one year of experience in the electronic trade; electronics technician experience may substitute for training.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine industrial electronics maintenance on lifts to ensure reliability and compliance with standards.
• Assists with design, modification, construction and installation of lift control systems under supervision.
• Conducts annual and periodic inspections and troubleshoots lift problems as they occur.
• Performs pre-operational lift start‑up inspections and uses shop equipment safely.
• Maintains safety, keeps supervisor informed of conditions affecting lift machinery and passengers.
