Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking an On-Guard Cloud Engineer II to join the Lenel/S2 Cloud Engineering team. You will onboard and secure AWS-hosted single-tenant On-Guard environments, automate scalable architectures, and ensure high availability in a large distributed setup.

Responsibilities include building automated deployments, monitoring health metrics, and supporting customers from onboarding through expansion. Strong scripting and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AWS experience including IaC formats such as CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform or Ansible.
• 2+ years networking with VPCs, subnets, security groups, NACLs, DNS.
• 3 years coding/automation across SDLC; RESTful APIs integration.
• 1–3 years relational DB experience (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Responsibilities

• Build, scale, and secure the underlying AWS infrastructure for Lenel On-Guard.
• Collaborate with developers and end-users to diagnose issues and automate deployments.
• Provide visibility into performance metrics and security audits.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and continuous improvement of automation.
