Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a driven Cloud Engineer to join the Lenel/S2 Cloud Engineering/Managed Services team in the On-Guard AWS hosted environment. You will own the health of the cloud-based managed service, automate environments, and architect scalable solutions for large, distributed deployments.

You will onboard customers, reverse engineer solutions when needed, and collaborate with internal and customer teams to deliver secure, automated, and reliable cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in AWS cloud, networking, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with IaC and automation tools (AWS SSM, Ansible, Chef).
• Proficiency in Windows Server management and virtualization.
• Strong scripting/programming in PowerShell, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or C#.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and databases (SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL).

Responsibilities

• Build, scale, and secure AWS infrastructure hosting Lenel On-Guard.
• Develop automation and deployment tools for customers.
• Monitor performance, maintain health metrics, and manage 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with Lenel/S2, AWS teams, and customers to improve processes.
• Support onboarding and expansion for key customers while ensuring security.
