Senra Systems is building a Production Engineering function and seeks a Production Engineer to be the on-floor technical resource during active production. You will troubleshoot builds, verify kits, and drive documentation accuracy while supporting first articles and new part introductions on the production floor.

You will mentor technicians, ensure conformance to IPC/WHMA-A-620 and NASA 8739.4 standards, and collaborate with Quality, ME, and Production teams to keep throughput moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in wire harness or cable assembly manufacturing.
• Knowledge of wire harness assembly processes: wire prep, crimping, soldering, connector insertion, harness routing.
• Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.

Responsabilités

• On-floor technical resource during active production – resolving assembly issues without halting throughput.
• Escalate systemic issues with clear, structured documentation.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective action for recurring production issues.
• Disposition non-conformances with documented rationale (use-as-is, rework, or scrap).
• Maintain NCR aging within SLA; elevate items beyond your scope for engineering disposition.
• Coordinate with Quality on in-process holds and final disposition sign-off.
• Support first articles and new part introductions on the floor.
• Walk the floor during first builds to verify documentation and identify gaps.
• Capture redlines and feedback for the ME team in a timely manner.
