Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years shipping consumer or enterprise desktop software products.
• Proven track record with Windows applications, device management software, user productivity tools, or system utilities.
• Practical experience deploying on-device ML models, AI agents, or small language models (SLMs).
• Solid understanding of operating systems, application lifecycle management, telemetry systems, and device management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision and multi-year roadmap for the desktop optimization suite.
• Translate complex silicon telemetry into intuitive, actionable user interface dashboards.
• Design seamless user workflows for switching between automated AI tuning and manual control.
• Establish application success metrics for active user engagement and churn reduction.
• Write PRDs for local machine learning models and define reinforcement learning rewards.
• Ensure on-device inference runs with minimal fan noise and no thermal throttling.
• Prioritize telemetry pipelines and collaborate with QA on battery-saving metrics across hardware.
