Language Services Associates, Inc. is seeking an audio/video interpreter fluent in English and Haitian Creole to join our network of Independently Contracted Interpreters. You will handle on-demand calls and facilitate communication for LEP communities in diverse settings.

Work is conducted through a web-based platform, requiring strong confidentiality and professional conduct. Prior interpreting experience and certifications (CMI, CCHI) are preferred, and you will need a quiet, secure

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Haitian Creole.
• Technology proficient (web-based platforms, email, Microsoft Word).
• An interpreting space that is quiet, secure, and free from outside noises.
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web based platform.
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices.
