Job summary

Sparrows Point Country Club, part of Troon, seeks an Outside Golf Services team member in Dundalk, MD. Greet guests, assist with unloading clubs, maintain the cart fleet, and help guests with club cleaning and bag storage.

The role supports the pro shop, events, and operations to ensure a seamless guest experience. This is a seasonal, part-time position with outdoor work in varying weather; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in golf, outdoor recreation, or hospitality preferred.
• Must be friendly, approachable, and customer-focused.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests, assist with unloading clubs, and stage carts for departure.
• Maintain the cart fleet — clean, fuel/charge, inspect, and stage carts daily.
• Assist guests with club cleaning and bag storage after their round.
• Return and organize pull carts and rental equipment after each use.
• Support the pro shop team with daily operational tasks as directed by management.
• Assist with setup and breakdown for tournaments, outings, leagues, and special events.
