Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Youth Counselor to coach K-8 students on life skills, public speaking, focus, and real-time feedback. You will run one-hour workshops, monitor progress with Coachbot analytics, and motivate students to achieve 100% of their weekly app goals.

This is a full-time, on-site role at Alpha campuses. A Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years working directly with K-8 students are required, with relocation support available for selected cities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in any subject.
• At least 3 years working with K-8 students in teaching, tutoring, coaching, camp leadership, or similar roles.
• Legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 cohorts on public speaking, focus, and feedback.
• Run daily 1:1 and small-group motivation sessions to push students to 100% of weekly app goals.
• Administer the Test2Pass mastery assessment for each life skill and re-coach until mastery.
• Adapt workshop playbooks and create new sessions to land material for different age groups.
• Be the authoritative, supportive adult that students trust and turn to.
