Job summary

Coastline College’s Office of Public Relations and Marketing is seeking an IT Applications Developer to serve as the college’s webmaster. This role partners with our creative team to turn content into web pages and e-newsletters, and performs final quality and accessibility reviews before going live.

The ideal candidate combines solid coding with an eye for clean, intuitive design, UI/UX, and web accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Develops, analyzes, modifies, and provides support to web portal-based and desktop applications that use integrated databases for information resource, including websites, blogs, and content management systems.
• Designs and develops data structures and efficient algorithms for connecting and summarizing information.
• Integrates web portal and database systems with existing data warehouses and applications for student information, learning outcomes, and content management.
• Develops interfaces and queries to relational databases for data extraction and reporting.
• Provides training and support to staff on web portal, content management, and decision support systems.
