Dallas College is seeking faculty for on-site, face-to-face instruction across various programs. Roles require maintaining office hours, delivering effective teaching, and ensuring student success in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher and at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline for credit courses.
• For workforce education degree or certificate courses: a combination of academic preparation and work experience, including three (3) years of direct or related work experience other than teaching.
• For developmental courses: Bachelor's degree or higher in the specific teaching discipline and demonstrated competency, transcripts required at interview.
• Bilingual or multilingual preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides students with a written course syllabus.
• Participates in evaluating the instructional process and uses innovative strategies to improve learning.
• Maintains accurate and complete course records.
• Performs professional activities and collaborates with the division dean and colleagues to meet goals.
• Participates in campus committees and college events as assigned.
• Promotes the college in the community and engages in marketing activities.
• Completes required Dallas College Professional Development training hours per academic year.
• Demonstrates ability to work with diverse backgrounds.
