Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher with 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline for credit courses.
• Three (3) years of direct or related work experience other than teaching for workforce education.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in the specific teaching discipline with demonstrated competency for developmental courses.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with a written course syllabus.
• Participate in evaluation of instructional process and use innovative strategies to improve learning.
• Support discipline by revising curricula and recommending teaching assignments when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and complete course records.
• Collaborate with division dean and colleagues to achieve shared goals and visions.
• Demonstrate ability to work with diverse backgrounds and communities.
