Job summary

Santa Fe ISD is seeking a Campus Safety Assistant to support the district police officers and provide security for students, staff, and visitors at assigned campus in Santa Fe, Texas. This role reports to the Chief of Police and requires vigilance, clear reporting, and strong communication to maintain a safe campus environment.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, a Texas driver’s license, and at least one year of security or law enforcement experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Clear and valid Texas driver’s license required.
• One year of security, law enforcement, or corrections experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote lawful behavior and protect welfare as a uniformed campus presence.
• Perform metal detector screening.
• Monitor for unauthorized persons and notify police as needed.
