Job summary

Southside ISD Police Department in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a Police Officer to patrol district property, protect students, staff and visitors, and enforce municipal, county and state laws. The role requires independence and flexibility for varied hours.

Required qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, a Texas Peace Officer license (TCOLE), a valid Texas driver’s license, and the ability to pass physical, psychiatric and drug tests. Police Bike Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigates criminal offenses within the district’s jurisdiction.
• Writes effective legal incident reports and testifies in court as needed.
• Responds to crisis situations and coordinates with campus principals.
