Florida Gulf Coast University is seeking a Student Residence Life Team Assistant (RLTA) to support on-campus housing operations and staff development. The RLTA is a resident staff member who contributes to residence life, mentors Resident Assistants, and helps coordinate programs and events.

The role emphasizes communication, organization, and collaboration within the Housing and Residence Life team, with duties spanning administration, training, and event planning.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enrolled as a degree-seeking student at FGCU at hire and during appointment.
• Minimum of two semesters of experience as a Resident Assistant.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
• In good academic and conduct standing with the University.

Responsabilidades

• Provide administrative support and attend team meetings.
• Coordinate with supervisor on assignments and progress.
• Maintain Residence Life documentation and logs.
• Assist with program proposals, receipts, and evaluations.
• Support training and development for Resident Assistants.
• Assist with events and health and safety inspections.
• Provide front desk coverage and on-call support.
• Help plan large-scale programs and community events.
• Be a mentor and role model for student staff.
