Job summary

Longwood University invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of Printing Technician / Printing Technician III (PW120) in the Printing Services department. The Lancer Print Shop handles digital printing presses and provides high-quality printed materials for faculty, staff, and students on campus.

This is a part-time, on-site position located in Farmville, Virginia. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Extensive customer service experience.
• Experience with Mac computers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents, complex reports, brochures, and multi-colored documents for digital reproduction.
• Maintain web-based digital ordering system.
• Communicate with customers on projects, providing excellent customer service.
• Provide operational support to customers as needed to ensure the successful completion of projects.
• Process financial transactions in accordance with university policies and procedures, including operating the cash register and handling deposits.
• Operate bindery equipment (perfect binder, stitcher, spiral binding machine, padding press) and fulfillment equipment (booklet maker, drill press, cutter).
• Maintain proficiency in fulfilling orders as well as completing orders by the scheduled due date.
• Other duties as assigned.
