Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on-campus homes, supervise a group of 8–13 students, and guide their academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, health oversight, transportation, and leading devotions. The role transitions to a placed houseparent over time. Both spouses must be married ≥2 years and be 27+. Salary and benefits accompany housing.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year married couple minimum.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Respect for campus rules and student safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and oversee health needs.
• Drive students to activities and participate in development/recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
