Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing daily care, guidance, supervision and support for 8–13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment that supports academic, emotional and social growth.

Upon hire, nine days on duty followed by three days off transitions toward a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and oversee wellness.
• Plan activities and lead devotions and chapel attendance.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
