The University of Texas at Austin's Healthyhorns - University Health Services is hiring a Medical Assistant for Gynecology on the UT Austin campus. The role supports patient care, performs clinical tasks, and works with UHS providers in an 11-month, on-site position.

The ideal candidate has a Medical Assistant program credential, CPR, EMR experience, and at least 1 year in outpatient clinics, with strong computer skills and independence. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8–5. Begins immediately.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program/certificate/registration.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience using electronic medical records.
• Ability to work independently.
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient clinic experience.

Aufgaben

• Assist with evaluation and care of patients to be seen by UHS providers.
• Exhibit professionalism, teamwork, and customer service.
• Perform department-specific procedures and treatments per UHS policies.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Maintain knowledge for high-quality patient care.
• Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance.
• Participate in other activities as assigned.
