Job summary

Liberty University is seeking a Graduate Student Assistant to support on-campus academic activities under the supervision of a Dean, Department Chair, or Professor. The role includes teaching, grading, scheduling, and coordinating communications with students, with a maximum of 20 hours per week during the contracted period.

Responsibilities include class support, exam administration, grading, and assisting in research tasks while adhering to university policies and the Honor Code.

Qualifications

• Must be accepted into, or currently enrolled in a master’s or doctorate program by the start date.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in class-related functions for assigned professor.
• Assist and conduct research under supervisor guidance.
• Grade quizzes, tests, and assignments within university timeframes.
• Maintain regular on-campus office hours and interact with students.
• Communicate with students via email and Canvas.
