Chartwells Higher Education is seeking an Assistant Director of Dining Services at the University of Houston on campus. In this leadership role, you will oversee daily dining hall operations, lead a team of associates, and drive profitability and service excellence in a high-visibility campus environment.

You will partner with the Chef and management team to deliver nutritious menus, develop staff, and maintain strong client relationships while supporting financial goals in your assigned area.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of food service supervisory experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, education, or related dining operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Financial experience and business acumen.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates nutritious, top quality food with Chef and management.
• Implements new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Maintains excellent client relationships.
• Manages, trains, and develops associates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
