Job summary

Chartwells Higher Ed is seeking a Retail Dining Director to lead on-campus dining operations at Texas A&M Corpus Christi, overseeing Chick-fil-A, Panda Express and Starbucks.

You will manage salaried managers and hourly staff, develop budgets, ensure safety standards (HACCP/OSHA), and recruit/train team members to deliver superior client service. This role requires a strong background in foodservice leadership and P&L accountability.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Food Services Technology/Management or A.A. with 4+ years related experience.
• 5–7 years in direct foodservice ops management with inventory and purchasing knowledge.
• Strong supervisory, leadership, and communication skills; P&L or contract-managed service desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct salaried managers and hourly staff in food service operations.
• Oversee budgeting, reporting, payroll and cost controls.
• Ensure HACCP compliance and safe food handling.
• Hire, train and develop associates; drive client satisfaction.
