Chartwells Higher Education is hiring an energetic and growth-minded Assistant Director of Dining Services at the University of Houston! In this key leadership role, you will assist with day-to-day food service operations of a campus dining hall and lead a team of associates, overseeing talent development, client relationships, profitability, and financial goals in an assigned area.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of food service supervisory or lead experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Financial experience and business acumen skills.
• Proficient with MS Office products.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with the Chef and management team in creating nutritious and top quality food.
• Implements new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Maintains excellent relationships with the client.
• Manages, trains, and develops associates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
