Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring full-time Flex Houseparents (couples) to reside in on-campus student homes and supervise 8-13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, budgeting, transportation, and organizing activities to support students' academic and social growth.

The role requires a married couple with at least two years together, both aged 27+, a high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to a safe, drug- and alcohol-free campus. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
