Job summary

Georgetown University seeks an Assistant Teacher for the Georgetown Law Early Learning Center located on campus near Capitol Hill. You will create a nurturing, responsive learning environment and implement developmentally appropriate activities while complying with policies.

The role requires collaboration with families and staff, safety focus, and adherence to licensing and university guidelines. On-campus position with prior child care experience preferred and First Aid/CPR certifications

Qualifications

• CDA or higher in early childhood education or related field.
• Associate degree or higher in any subject area; or
• High school diploma with 60 credit hours in any subject area; or
• State OSSE-approved CDA-equivalent certificate.

Responsibilities

• Implement developmentally appropriate education activities and nurturing care.
• Create and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment.
• Build relationships with families and collaborate with the GLELC team.
• Ensure compliance with Georgetown University, OSSE, and related policies.
