Georgetown Law Early Learning Center on Georgetown University’s campus is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support daily activities and learning for young children. You will work under a Lead Teacher to plan, implement, and assess activities, while maintaining open communication with families about their child’s progress.

Located near the U.S. Capitol, the role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adaptability in a dynamic university setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have one of the following: Associate’s degree or higher; OR high school diploma with CDA credential; OR high school diploma with certification and will earn CDA by Dec 2023.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily activities.
• Support development and learning based on children’s interests and needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about child activities and development.
