Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher with 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline for credit courses.
• Three (3) years of direct or related work experience for workforce education or certificates.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in the specific teaching discipline for developmental courses; transcripts required at interview.
• Bilingual or multilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with a written course syllabus.
• Participate in evaluating the instructional process and use innovative strategies to improve learning.
• Support discipline by revising curricula and recommending teaching assignments as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and complete course records.
• Collaborate with division dean and colleagues to meet goals and visions.
• Engage diverse communities and learning styles in instruction.
