Job summary

The role demands strong customer service, communication skills, and proficiency with computer applications. Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree preferred, with coursework in education, business, social science or related area and two years in higher education related to student development or counseling.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic advising for degree-seeking students to ensure full enrollment and graduation requirements are met.
• Assist students with course selection, scheduling, and understanding transfer options.
• Contribute to development and implementation of student development programs and college recruitment activities.
• Assess academic skills and explain placement testing results to students.
• Design programs for at-risk students to improve academic success.
• Provide information about other institutions and transfer requirements.
