Job summary

UWorld is seeking charismatic, knowledgeable on-screen talent with academic backgrounds in English, Philosophy, History, Drama, Theatre, or related fields to deliver engaging video presentations for students studying humanities disciplines in higher-ed.

Presenters are expected to have strong on-camera presence, clear delivery, and engaging storytelling as they bring scripted content to life through themed sets, costumes, and creative backdrops.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in English, Philosophy, History, Drama, Theatre, or a closely related field.
• Undergraduate teaching experience (2+ years preferred).
• Experience with public speaking, acting, stage performance, or educational media (1+ year).
• Ability to travel to Dallas, TX for final recordings.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Video Lead in the filming of video lectures.
• Serve as onscreen talent for lectures.
• Review and internalize scripts and slide presentations.
• Work with our production and education teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Receive and apply constructive feedback on video lectures.
• Collaborate with management to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Filming takes place in person at our Dallas, TX studio.
