Job summary

Spin Hire is seeking a Content Creator in Venice, CA to ideate, shoot, and star in high-volume short-form video ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube. You’ll collaborate with a creative strategist and editors, while the distribution team handles posting and optimization.

You must be an engaging on-camera performer with strong editing chops, a track record in ads, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, outcomes-driven environment. On-site role with room for growth and impact.

Qualifications

• On-camera performer: natural and compelling, with acting ability as the #1 requirement. Comedy or improv experience is a strong plus.
• Proven track record: in-house brand or agency content that scaled into ads.
• Direct response experience: on-camera ads built around a strong hook and clear call to action.
• Editing skills: CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci, or similar.
• High output: thrives in a fast-paced, scrappy environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform on camera. Ideate, shoot and star in short-form video, talking about products naturally and convincingly.
• Every format. Skits, UGC-style, street interviews, staged podcasts, lifestyle and product storytelling.
• Volume, every week. Deliver a high volume of content on a weekly launch cycle, shooting mostly on your phone.
• Edit when needed. Cut your own pieces when it’s faster, working alongside the editing team.
• Learn from the numbers. Iterate based on ad performance—understand why a piece won and adjust the next one.
• New formats. Help build what’s next, including YouTube ads and longer commercials.
• Live events. Attend in-person pop-ups and events in Los Angeles to capture live content.
