Job summary

MoDOT is seeking an on-call Emergency Maintenance Equipment Operator at Fulton Maintenance Facility to support snow removal operations. Work hours vary with weather events and may include overtime and night shifts. Eligible for a temporary emergency wage adjustment of $3 per hour during winter operations.

Seasonal wage rates apply: 1st season $20.00 hourly, 2nd/3rd seasons $21.11 hourly, 4th season or more $22.37 hourly. CDL required with background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status (EI or NI).
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials or to warn oncoming traffic.
• Cleans and performs routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned.
