Boys & Girls Club of Oakland is seeking an On-Call Van Driver to transport BGCO members safely to schools, field trips, and approved activities. This part-time, on-call position emphasizes safety, reliability, and positive customer service.
Work hours are weekday afternoons with some weekend coverage; a valid California CDL with Passenger Endorsement, CPR/First Aid certifications, and a clean driving record are required. You will also maintain logs and assist with program transports.

The On-Call Van Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable transportation for BGCO members to and from schools, field trips and other approved activities. This position helps ensure youth arrive safely while creating a positive and welcoming environment that reflects BGCO’s commitment to safety, respect, and excellent customer service. The On-Call Van Driver serves as a representative of BGCO when interacting with youth, families, schools, and community partners, and may also assist with transporting program supplies and equipment as needed. This is an on-call position that provides coverage for scheduled driver absences and additional transportation needs throughout the year.
