Qualifications

• Requires national certification in two ultrasound specialty areas and BLS certification.
• 3–5 years of clinical ultrasound experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations following orders and protocols with radiologist input.
• Educate patients on procedures and answer questions professionally.
• Serve as subject matter expert for registries and QC checks.
• Maintain equipment quality and safety, document findings clearly.
• Support workflow efficiency and precept newer staff when needed.
• Assist with invasive procedures as applicable and follow policies.
• Protect patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure timely throughput and supplies.
• Communicate findings and triage orders effectively to radiologists.
