Qualifications

• 2+ years of ultrasound experience.
• Required licensure: BLS CPR (American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider), ARDMS Ultrasound Technologist, ARRT RT(S) Ultrasound Technologist or CCI RVSRVT/RVS Registered Vascular Technologist (timeline specified for sites without onsite Vascular Lab).
• Preferred VT/RVS Registered Vascular Technologist for sites with onsite Vascular Lab.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality ultrasound examinations following established protocols to minimize repeats and assist diagnosis.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures by explaining process and positioning patients.
• Operates and maintains ultrasound equipment, troubleshoots issues, optimizes imaging for accurate interpretations.
• Documents patient info and exam details in PACS, resolves errors for accurate records.
• Collaborates with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other health professionals for coordinated care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
