Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic sonographic examinations and contribute to high-quality patient care. This role requires after-hours on-call coverage, collaboration with radiologists, and accurate documentation in PACS.

RESPONSIBLE for safe patient handling, image optimization, and professional communication with the healthcare team to support timely decisions and positive patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; graduate of radiology/imaging program.
• 2+ years of ultrasound experience.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality routine and special ultrasound examinations per protocols.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment; optimize imaging parameters.
• Document and archive findings in PACS; ensure accurate records.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure timely communication of findings.
