City and County of San Francisco Public Works seeks an on‑call Truck Driver to support Street Environmental Services. You will operate trucks and related equipment on construction and maintenance projects, maintain daily logs, and assist with safety checks and DOT/ CHP inspections.

This temporary exempt position is up to 1040 hours; requires a valid Class A or B license with air brakes, a clean driving record, and two years of heavy equipment experience.

Qualifikationen

• Two (2) years of verified experience as a truck driver for heavy construction equipment or trucks over 26,000 pounds.
• A good driving record with no excessive violation points in recent years.
• Valid Class B or Class A driver's license with current Medical Certificate and no restrictions on air brakes.

Aufgaben

• Drive and operate trucks and associated equipment on construction/maintenance projects.
• Perform daily maintenance checks and load/unload materials safely.
• Complete DOT/ CHP inspections and required forms.
• Prepare daily activity reports and assist with office tasks as needed.
