Qualifications include HS with a surgical technology program or 1 year OR experience; CAAHEP/ABHES accreditation or equivalent certifications are acceptable, with additional LPN paths noted. On-call shifts apply.

Competenze

• HS and graduation from surgical technology program or 1 year related OR experience.
• Graduate from a CAAHEP/ABHES surgical technology program, or LPN with 10+ years as surgical tech, or CST/CSFA certification per NBSTSA/AAH/NHWA/NCCT.

Mansioni

• Pass surgical instruments in the operating room.
• Maintain sterile field and assist with case counts.
• Obtain supplies/instruments for cases and ensure complete working order.
• Set up and maintain sterile field until the patient exits the room.
• Pass instruments to surgeons and anticipate needs; monitor sterile technique.
