Job summary

The Town of Little Elm is seeking an entry-level Stormwater Maintenance Assistant to support the Stormwater Crew Leader in daily fieldwork. You will clean, repair, and maintain curbs, gutters, inlets, and stormwater structures while following safety guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to read and communicate in English. You may be on-call during winter operations and will receive training for required certifications within one year.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment and vehicles for proper, safe function.

• Clean, repair, and maintain curbs, gutters, inlets, outfalls, stormwater structures, and related infrastructure.
• Prepare daily tasks, load tools, and manage materials; return tools to storage.
• Set up work zones for public safety and assist with work orders.
• Be on-call during winter operations and after-hours events as required.
