Stonebridge seeks an on-call Steward for the Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center in Denver, CO, located in the historic Colorado National Bank building. The starting pay is $19.75 per hour, and the role supports all outlets and banquets by providing supplies and maintaining cleanliness.

This on-call position emphasizes teamwork with the Executive Chef, strict sanitation, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Flexibility is required to handle events and peak times.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or stewarding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of proper sanitation and safety procedures in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Washes and sanitizes dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, pantry, and storage areas.
• Ensures proper handling and storage of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Monitors the dishwashing machine for proper cleaning and sanitation.
• Assists in transporting food and equipment to banquet and dining areas as needed.
• Follows health department regulations and hotel standards for cleanliness and safety.
• Disposes of trash and recycling in accordance with local regulations.
• Restocks dishes, glassware, and silverware in the kitchen and service areas.
• Communicates with the culinary team to ensure timely delivery of kitchen equipment.
• Performs routine cleaning tasks such as mopping floors and wiping surfaces.
• Assists with setting up and breaking down kitchen equipment for events.
