Magnolia River Services, Inc. is seeking a Stand By Watch technician to monitor and coordinate third-party exposure of Company transmission and distribution systems in the Round Rock, Texas area.

The role focuses on preventing damages, ensuring safety procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation in a heavy outdoor work environment. Responsibilities include overseeing contractor crossings, reporting progress, and engaging with client personnel and excavators to ensure compliant dig

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in underground construction preferred.
• Hands-on construction or excavation experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pipeline and distribution high pressure crossings by third-party contractors.
• Keep daily report of construction contractors progress.
• Work with client crews and outside contractors to have excavations performed with the purpose of damage prevention.
• Verify locates and maps for underground facilities.
• May be required to stand-by duty and emergency call outs.
• Maintain safety and encroachment documentation.
