Job summary

New Mexico Highlands University is seeking on-call events technicians to support performances at Ilfeld Auditorium and Wilson Complex. Duties include house managing, spotlight operation, stage management, and audio/lighting support.

Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular hours is required. Must have a GED or high school diploma, be dependable and mature, with good people skills and basic knowledge of sound/light equipment.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma is required.
• Must be able to lift 5 - 25 lbs and stand/walk during performances.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and odd hours.
• Must be able to supervise students with respect and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• House managing, spotlight tech, stage managing, asst. stage managing, concessions, sound tech, and light tech.
• Ensure patron safety and assist with all duties during performances as assigned by the Ilfeld Auditorium manager.
