Job summary

The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston is seeking an On-Call Massage Therapist to join its Forbes Five-Star Spa team. The role will deliver treatments per hotel standards and contribute to guest delight through professional service and curated experiences.

Responsibilities include guest greetings, treatment explanations, room prep, and maintaining a clean, safe spa environment. Prior luxury/hotel experience and a valid license are preferred. CPR certification or willingness to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of professional massage therapy experience.
• CPR certified or willing to obtain certification.
• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred.

We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences. The On -Call Massage Therapist will be responsible for performing all treatments and services as trained and required by the standards of the Spa and Hotel.

• Explain massage and body treatments, including techniques, benefits, and product used
• Handle opening and closing procedures
• Daily set up, stocking, cleaning of treatment rooms, and dispensary

• Promote all treatments and products offered in the Spa & Salon
• Handle guest comments and concerns in a timely and appropriate manner

Qualifications

• 2 years of professional massage therapy experience
• Valid State Massage therapist license
• CPR certified or willing to obtain certification
• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
• Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required
• Physical demands - Standing, walking, squatting, kneeling and half kneeling for cleaning. Lifting and carrying towels, carrying gallon container of product, and overhead reaching.
