Job summary

Auberge Resorts Collection is seeking an on-call Massage Therapist to provide massage and esthetic services to guests at our Austin luxury spa. The role requires professional communication, licensing, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Greet guests, prepare rooms to specifications, maintain sanitation, and actively promote spa treatments and retail offerings while upholding the highest standards of service and ethics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as licensed massage therapist and esthetician.
• State licenses required.
• Experience in a luxury spa and/or hotel spa environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort to treatment rooms; attend to immediate needs during spa visits.
• Prepare treatment rooms to client specifications and maintain standards.
• Perform prep work and clean/restock rooms as needed.
• Ensure guest comfort and safety throughout treatments.
• Maintain professional ethics and personalized service.
• Keep work areas and spa spaces clean and organized.
• Uphold sanitation/sterilization standards as directed by law.
• Report any incidents to management.
• Promote spa services, sessions, and promotions.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings.

Job Description

As a On Call Massage Therapist you will be responsible for providing Massage and Esthetic services to guests with unparalleled personalized service, professionalism and come with exceptional knowledge in the field of the healing arts.

• Greet guests warmly and escort guests to and from treatment rooms while attending to any immediate needs throughout their Spa visit.
• Prepare treatment rooms to client specifications while also adhering to the property service standards
• Perform prep work and properly clean and restock the room as required and needed.
• Ensure guest comfort and safety throughout the treatment.
• Maintain professional ethics while ensuring personalized service is provided to each guest so they feel their needs are met.
• Maintain the work area with necessary supplies. Ensure the room is immaculate at all times as well as cleanliness of all other spa areas including locker rooms.
• Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.
• Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa including guest complaints or misconduct.
• Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions, and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
• Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a licensed massage therapist and Esthetician
• Massage Therapist and Esthetician State License required
• Experience in a luxury spa and/or hotel spa environment preferred
• Personal, excellent communication skills, professionalism and love for healing
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Commitment to a minimum of three days a week inclusive of weekends.
