You will apply ice melt, operate hand tools and small equipment safely, enforce safety policies, coordinate with plow drivers and property managers, and maintain professional client interactions. Availability for early mornings, nights, weekends, and on-call duties is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership skills or the ability to effectively lead and motivate a small team in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual snow removal using shovels and other hand tools on commercial walkways, sidewalks, entryways, steps, and loading docks.
• Apply ice melt and other de-icing agents effectively and efficiently as directed.
• Ensure thorough and timely completion of assigned areas on commercial properties.
• Communicate effectively with the Shovel Team Leader and other team members regarding site conditions and progress.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while on client properties.
• Utilize assigned tools and equipment properly and safely.
• Report the completion of assigned areas to the Shovel Team Leader or through designated communication methods.
• Communicate any site-specific observations or issues encountered on commercial properties to the Shovel Team Leader.
• Accurately report work hours.
