Job summary

Charlestown Landscaping is seeking Equipment Operators to join our winter snow removal team. You will be on call and notified when snow is forecasted, with reporting instructions to the designated location and a manager as point of contact.

You will operate a plow truck or other heavy equipment, clear snow from parking lots and access roads, spread salt, perform routine fueling and basic maintenance, and support loading and unloading materials as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of professional snow removal experience.
• Must have reliable transportation to job sites or assigned branch location.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must pass driver’s license screen.
• Safeguard assets from theft and misuse.
• Commit to business ethics and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Operation of a plow truck or heavy equipment pursuant to your qualifications.
• Clear snow from paved parking areas, access roads, loading docks and similar.
• Utilize equipment in a safe manner.
• Operate one or more types of heavy equipment and/or trucks.
• Spread salt and deicers utilizing spreaders and similar.
• Assist snow removal team in loading and unloading materials and supplies.
• Fuel and perform basic maintenance to your assigned equipment.
